Leo Yu-Ning Chang is an enthusiastic bilingual actor, singer, emcee, and educator based in NYC. Born and raised in Taiwan, Leo was introduced to theatre when he became a foreign exchange student in Kansas at the age of 16, when his life was forever changed. His passion for performing arts led him to major in theatre and become a professional performer in Taiwan. 

 

In 2016, Leo took his last bow from "Guess What," an award-winning A Cappella band he co-founded. He then took a faithful leap and ventured to the U.S. to pursue his dreams. Upon receiving his M.F.A. Degree in musical theatre, he now lives in New York City where he thrives and stands tall (5' 6'') as an international artist and educator. 

 

Having a deep understanding of both Eastern and Western cultures, Leo serves as a strong voice in the entertainment industry and in theatre education. He tirelessly promotes diversity and cultural authenticity through his actions, storytelling, and teaching. At the same time, he advocates equity for International and POC actors.
